Sprint took orders on Sunday and will begin shipping the CDMA version of the HTC Diamond Windows Mobile 6.1 PDA phone.

Sprint’s version of the HTC Diamond is a tad thicker than the GSM version of the Diamond that has been selling in Europe for some time. The thicker unit has a larger battery to support the greater demand CDMA puts on the battery. For some odd reason Sprint decided to make this business phone in red instead of the standard black such as Telus has on their nice CDMA Diamond. Due to the very negative response by many Sprint subscribers Sprint may have to release an all black version for people looking for a business phone with a business like appearance.
