Sprint Begins Sales of HTC Touch Pro |
|
November 3, 2008
Sprint is now selling the HTC Touch Pro through their website and a few retail stores throughout the US.
Sprint has released their latest Windows Mobile phone about a month and a half after the HTC Diamond. The unit is very similar to the Diamond. Some of the key differences are the memory, the microSD slot and the physical keyboard and of course the Touch Pro is thicker as it includes the slide out keyboard. Hopefully this unit will have the battery life bug fixed as many report the battery on the Sprint Diamond only lasts about half a day with push e-mail and BT enabled. This was unexpected on the Diamond as the previous models from HTC while not great for battery life typically lasted a full day with those functions enabled. I would probably wait for reviews and posts on forums about issues for this unit before ordering.
