Confused by the ads you've been seeing?  Microsoft is tired of the beating it has received by IT departments, IT journalists and the market with their unenthusiastic response to Vista. Microsoft Spends $300 Million - Attempting to Change Opinion About Vista

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In an attempt to counter the popular Mac OS ads which dish on Vista, and demands by hardware vendors and petitions to try and save XP, MS has decided to spend $300 million on enigmatic ads such as the following to convince you that you didn’t hate Vista as much as you thought you did. Rumor has it the "Mojave Expreriment" has people being shown video of Vista features, not people who use computers interacting with Vista and testing Vista.   While I don’t run a multibillion dollar company like Steve Ballmer, I think his $300 million would be much better spent on hiring better programmers, project managers, market research teams, survey analysts and division heads to significantly improve Vista with SP2 or giving up on it and moving forward and getting Windows 7 right the on the first release.  If a comedian can't stop you from upgrading your Vista PC to XP, then obviously they are using the wrong comedian.
