Verizon is now carrying the HTC Touch Pro, similar to the HTC Diamond but with a large slide out keyboard and a micro SD slot for additional storage.
In many ways this unit is similar to the HTC Touch Pro on Sprint but for some reason the Verizon web site says it only has 128MB of memory vs. the Sprint model which has about twice as much. Hopefully the Verizon version does have the Bluetooth stack and the radio issues worked out that cause for very bad battery life as well as a good deal of static when using Bluetooth. The unit offers 640 x 480 resolution which should be a minimum for any new Windows mobile phones in 2009 as far as I’m concerned. |
