Google launched a free app for the iPhone that allows for voice recognition including searches on the Google database.
While Google warns that voice recognition is not yet perfect, this could save many people a great deal of typing when wishing to Google some information on the web. The phone sensor activates the application and the iPhone GPS lets you ask local area questions such as where is the nearest x store?
