This is somewhat out of the ordinary as most new cell phones are release in Europe and Asia first and eventually make it here to the US. It seems like a good time to work for HTC as yet another PDA phone is being released using their hardware.  The Android OS by Google should offer some serious competition to Windows Mobile and iPhone as well as Palm and Blackberry. The open source nature should allow for many enhancements and applications being available for it shortly even though it is a new OS.   This is bad news for Microsoft as rumors of Windows Mobile 7 being delayed until the second half of next year are beginning to circulate. Fortunately it may not initially support sync with Microsoft Exchange which is a significant issue.   Adding support for Exchange sync has made the iphone 3G significantly more popular than the previous model as a business PDA.  T-Mobile subscribers may begin placing orders today.
