Many retailers are having their special "Cyber Monday" deals.

Hopefully we'll see some special ones as early reports on Black Friday indicates sales were not as brisk as in previous years and sales were not as special as many shoppers had hoped.  One of the better deals I've seen is the Belkin PF60 power conditioner at Buy.com for $155.   This is an ideal unit for giving excellent power conditioning to protect your more expensive electrical investments such as plasma screens, receivers, preamps, DVD players etc.   While you should at least have them attached to a very high quality power strip such as an APC, Belkin or Triplite with at least a couple thousand joules of protection, this unit will offer steady power state and can be used to turn on other devices when power on your main unit is engaged.
